Pursuant to the plan of work of the Committee adopted by the People´s Deputies of Ukraine the following bills should be drafted for the repeated second reading: "On Access to the Public Information" (Reg. No.2763); on Amendments to the Law "On Advertisement" (re Coordination with the European Convention on Transfrontier Television) (Reg. No3081); for the second reading the bill on Amendments to the Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" (re Coordination of certain Regulations of the Law in question with the Constitution of Ukraine) (Reg. No.3140); for the repeated first reading the bill on Amendments to the Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" (re Regulation of broadcasting of Programs with the Paid Interactive Competitions) as a Basis and in its Entirety (Reg. No.4510).
Furthermore, as it was planned, the Committee members shall prepare the issues of the legislative regulation of the problems of freedom of speech, formation of the system of the public television and radio broadcasting, reform of the state communal press, protection of the public morality, guarantees of parliamentary parties equality during the elucidation of their activity by the state television and radio channels, state-legal guarantees of the protection of the professional activity of the journalists etc.
It is also planed that the Committee shall conduct offsite meetings and parliamentary hearings.
